300 Ultra Mag

I discovered Gre-Tan rifles in 2002 when I had my first rifle built for big game hunting. Upon delivery it became immediately apparent that Greg had created a magnificent rifle. I started developing loads for as soon as I got home with it and right away it was printing quarter inch groups at 100 yards, all rounds were fed from the magazine, which fed flawlessly. The next day I was able to shoot at 500 yards, where I was able to consistently shoot 2-inch groups. In the years since I?ve used it to take several bull elk, mule deer and antelope.

Since that first rifle, I've had Greg build several rifles for me for hunting and competition, which I've used to successfully win several championships in 1000-yard bench rest competition and rifle silhouette. Thanks for the great rifles and your attention to detail! Jerry Rains
