The barrel on the left is Greg's work. The barrel on the right is what someone did to a new barrel and charge for it as an precision gunsmith. Unfortunately this was a new barrel that was put on the action. I understand making a mistake. But not correcting the mistake...

This is a Ruger 223 bolt face with erosion from leaking primers. Along with the larger diameter bushing to clean up the damage the F/P hole was made 0.0625 and the pin turned.

A Winchester bolt sent in after having been bushed by someone else. The bushing was made of a soft material. Also a huge hole was bored into the face and very deep. The support for the back of the bushing was so thin it was setting back in the bolt. Also the firing pin...

This is a Model 70 Winchester Push feed with a Standard bolt face. You can see I installed a Mini M-16 extractor and Bushed the firing pin hole. The reason for this was, someone had machined on the bolt and opened up the bolt face diameter. The case would slide out fro...

If the barrel threads are not exactly parallel to...

Bolt sleeving is not new to the gunsmithing industry. It was tried and used by other smiths before I came along. What set me apart has been the reamer/mandrel I designed with interchangeable bushings to center the mandrel in the action and recut the bolt bore raceway t...

Bushing the firing pin hole and turning the firing pin sounds small but this one operation to the bolt has so many benefits it's hard to believe. The biggie is it has to be done correctly to work as a total benefit. It took two years to perfect my system to get all the...
